Il sound del sassofonista James Martin è ormai considerato una garanzia nella scena musicale New Orleans. Ha studiato al NOCCA (New Orleans Centre for Creative Arts) e al  Loyola New Orleans College of Music e durante la sua strepitosa e carriera ha suonato con artisti del calibro di Dr. John, Lenny Kravitz and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, e con il suo “musical hero” Allen Toussaint. James è un orgoglioso abitante della città della Louisiana, ben rappresentata dalla sua musica che si ispira alle sonorità di personaggi come Louis Armstrong, Ernie K Doe e Fats Domino. E a Spiagge Soul proporrà proprio un tributo a “The Fat Man”, affiancato da musicisti italiani e internazionali.

Saxophonist James Martin’s distinctive sound has been a staple in the New Orleans music scene.During his studies at NOCCA and Loyola New Orleans College of Music, James cut his chops performing clubs and second lines in New Orleans. He traversed New Orleans vibrant musical landscape, playing with icons such as Dr. John, Lenny Kravitz and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, as well as his musical hero, Allen Toussaint. James Martin’s pride for New Orleans cannot be described with words, only through his music. Louis Armstrong, Ernie K Doe, and Fats Domino are some of the musical influences that paved his musical journey. On Spiagge Soul stage he will be actually playing in tribute to “The Fat Man”, joined by Italian and international musicians.
